| Peerless was started in very humble beginnings back in 1962 by Norman Healey, firstly making electric manual arc welders in a backyard and distributing throughout Victoria and southern NSW. Mr Healey travelled and set up dealers all over Victoria and southern NSW, once the business became established he soon went to other states to set up dealers. Within three years Peerless had established a very loyal dealership Australia wide. Not only did he manufacture a product to be proud of, he gave a 10 year guarantee on his welders - a first in Australia. The company also manufactured welders for many leading distribution companies under their own brand name. Peerless now have unsurpassed guarantees on their compressor range and provide the best service in the industry, which Peerless are still proud of today. After the first 3 years of operating from his backyard Norman built a 6000 square foot factory in Bendigo, after 5 years Peerless had grown out of that facility and today operates from a 50000 square foot facility in Havilah road. With a 3000 square foot spare parts facility, Peerless has two devoted engineers running the division where service is their utmost commitment the company. Peerless Products has always been owned and operated by the same family since its beginning back in 1962, this is something none of our competitors can take claim to. Peerless have just introduced a range of screw compressors to the Australian market, using the world renowned German Roto-Comp air ends which are leaders in the world. Peerless use Schneider switch gear from Europe and inverter technology from Japan which has been introduced into the Peerless screw compressor range on select models to make them energy efficient. Peerless Products have introduced a service kit with easy to follow instruction manual so that the end user can service his own unit at minimum service cost.
